Dr. Sung offers advanced and innovative treatments for a wide range of neck and back conditions
“I make it a priority to provide all my patients with education and individualized treatment so they can return to the activities they love with the least invasive options possible”
Roger D. Sung, M.D.
Dr. Roger D. Sung is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in cervical and lumbar spine surgery, minimally invasive spine procedures, artificial disc replacement, spinal cord stimulation, and complex spine reconstruction. He completed a spine surgery fellowship at Case Western Reserve University after orthopedic surgery training at UCLA.
A procedure used to help manage chronic pain that has not responded to other treatments. A small device is implanted to deliver mild electrical signals to the spinal cord, helping interrupt pain signals before they reach the brain and improving overall quality of life.
An advanced procedure used to treat damaged or herniated discs in the neck. Unlike spinal fusion, it replaces the affected disc with an artificial implant while maintaining natural movement between vertebrae. The procedure may relieve neck pain, arm pain, numbness, and weakness caused by nerve compression.
